ABOUT

Born in Houston, TX and raised in Denver, CO, Laura Lambuth currently resides and works in Brooklyn, NY as a contemporary fine artist. Her primary focus revolves around the creation of a modern-day Western mythos through her paintings, employing a cowboy persona in many of her works. Laura seeks to exaggerate her life experiences to construct a reality that aligns with the cowboy character, exploring topics of self imposed loneliness, complex relationships, and American culture. Beyond painting, she dedicates a significant portion of her time to creating digital illustrations, stickers, and masks to further expand her studio practice.
